John K. Holloway

John Holloway Chief Operating Officer, studied Chemical and Systems engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology before graduating from Southern Polytechnic Institute (Kennesaw State University) with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

John worked as a chemical process engineer for Monsanto, and operations engineer for Georgia Power Company followed by 32 years with Halliburton in Drilling and Logging Operations, Technical Services, and domestic and international (Asia) leadership positions. His experience focused on the development and introduction of new drilling and logging technologies for oil, gas, and mining activities. He assumed responsibilities for global management of Halliburton Drilling Products Direct Sales Department. Following retirement from Halliburton, he worked with several companies as advisor and mentor in establishment of small oilfield training and service companies.

In 2023, he partnered with other experienced oil and gas professionals to explore the needs and opportunities concerning Carbon Capture and Storage, and so formed Carbon Strategists LLC to offer Safety, Experience, and Knowledge solutions to this important and growing field.
